today, we went to tagaytay for lunch. it's a approximately a three-hour drive, and not the first road trip we've had with bean. what's different this time is that she has her own seat in the car. law enforcement isn't so strict here in our country that's why i've managed to just hold her while in the car for so long. now that she's growing up, we figured it's time for her to learn a little independence (we've also discussed that her safety is most important). since she just started sitting on her booster seat, she needs a little more time to adjust. she just gets cranky when she runs out of things to do.
bean was behaved for the first hour and then fell asleep. she woke up after fifteen minutes and sat on my lap until we got to army navy for lunch.
i devoured a big burrito, adam had a double burger, bean had fries.
on our drive back, she slept the almost the whole time (in her seat) and woke up happy :)
