Bean's First Trick or Treat Halloween

Now that your little girl mastered how to walk, we thought of bringing her with her cousins to go trick or treating this Halloween. Bean wasted no time and started to walk around (dancing from time to time lol). Me and Adam had fun looking at other kids' costumes too! Here are a few photos of our first trick or treat with Bean (and cousins)!
Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!!!!

I Know What You're Thinking

It's been a year and two months of my being a mother. Who knew I'd be so good at this? I didn't. But I couldmeasily tell you that love was, and still is the culprit. When I get to talk to former coleagues or friends they ask me why, inspite of my college degree and PRC license in Interior Design, did I choose to stay at home and take care of my baby? Why did I decide to take odd jobs like being a makeup artist, writing for a website, or proofreading thesis papers? Let me show you why:

Now, who wouldn't want to take care of that? I'm not saying that Those moms who work made the wrong choice it's just that they can live with it, or they just have no other option. I am lucky to have a husband who understands how I want to raise our child.

Anyway, on a lighter note me and Bean visited Adam at the office (my former office). And this is what I dressed her in:

It's her first time wearing denim pants! I think it suits her well :) She had a blast walking around.

Hope everyone had a good day!

Life Lately on my iPhone

Happy Weekend!

This week has been a blur. I've just been so busy, and I must admit that I am tired. I know I still have time to adjust to my new job, so I am trying to think positive. Being a stay-at-home-mom is already a handful, at a home-based job to that. Ha! But I'm not giving up. Anyhow, I have my little one to keep me smiling!

Tepee and First Day of a New Job

It's my first day of officially being a work-at-home mom. The day went by so fast, and before I knew it, I feel so tired yet accomplished. I thought it was just going to be me was going to adjust to this, but my daughter had a rough day too. She refuses to nap when I'm not beside her (though I kind of like this). It's like both of us just want to play together the whole day. I know I wouldn't be able to focus on her that much, as I keep on checking my mail throughout the day, so I thought of building her a tepee. I could watch her there from where I am working. She loved it! (Though most of the time she keeps on tugging at my shirt for me to join her) I searched the net for the simplest instructions, and the only thing that could fit into my schedule was a DIY from pinterest. Besides it's being easy, its also cheap! You just need 6 bamboo sticks and a maxi-dress! I managed to take a few shots of her before I started to work.
My husband also took me out to watch Taken 2. It was good, but the first movie was better. I loved our Italian dinner too!
