Joyeux Noel

I wasn't prepared for this year's Holidays...obviously, because I am missing my dear cousin more than ever! She has always been the "life of the party," quick to organize almost everything from the arrangements, food, program...and the witty remarks she always had. I miss her so much that I spent the whole day of the 24th crying and cranky. I was so scared to face the days without her.

But I have my whole family (especially my little family) to spend it with, still. So I am happy. Actually, this year's Christmas reunion was made more interesting to me because of the mechanical bull....and because Adam won the riding contest.

Before Christmas eve.

And here are some from Christmas day's Cowboys and Indians themed party:

"Thank you mama; thank you daddy! I love my red bike!"

Pocahontas and Tiger Lily

"Champion"

My favorite costume!!!!

Dearest cousin, I didn't know how to live life without you. But I slowly learned, little by little. God knows how much I miss you and how I am willing to use up all my wishes to bring you back. If only it were possible. But you are in heaven, and I am still here. I can still love you the same, you know? And better, I will also still love your sisters, brother and parents more. Have fun spending your Christmases and New Years there until we meet agaien

Ugh, the dreaded day has come! It's my last year being in my twenties. Honestly, it's not that bad. I actually feel younger and more free. Adam really did keep his word on making it an enjoyable day for me. We had brunch at i Hop, and discovered Bean loved the food there. We took a look around some shops, and books (of course).

How I love pancakes! I am so glad this little family of mine loves it as much as I do! We walked around Serendra, browsed some shops...mostly sports shops. Health and fitness is becoming more important to us now, and we wish to bring up our daughter being aware of this, too.

Last year, we went to this place and took a picture of Bean under a tree which you can find HERE. We took another one yesterday with the same tree and it just shows how fast she's grown!

Another thing we try to teach is Bean is the value of reading. She picks it up quite well. I think this is the highlight of my day! Just seeing her holding a book and appreciating it, wow, makes me feel loads of wonderful!

Adam took me clothes shopping after! :) And we ended the day having dinner at home with my parents and siblings, plus Adam's mom. I feel so blessed! Here's a photo of our new house guest:

Happy 29th to me! I feel so blessed.

P.S.

Hi, cousin! I missed your birthday greeting this year, and I will for the rest of my life. There is no question that I will be missing you all the days of my life, and not one day passes by that I don't think about you. You are always in my heart. I love you, Trin!
